CST/Berger Magna-Trak MT200 [19-200SC] Magnetic Locator with Soft Case

The CST/berger Magna-Trak 200 magnetic locator 19-200SC detects magnetic fields emitted by underground ferrous and ferromagnetic objects. Ferrous objects contain iron while ferromagnetic objects contain iron, cobalt, or nickel. On the LCD display, users can see a peak response and hear an audio signal through the speaker. Both of these signals let you know when your Magna-Trak magnetic locator has located an object within a 20" depth. Selective Magnetic Location
The CST/berger MT200 detects only ferromagnetic objects. This means you do not have to worry about erroneous objects affecting your location accuracy. Such interruption can occur with objects made of aluminum, brass, or copper.

Two-Way Visual and Audio Response
When the Magna-Trak 200 finds an object, it gives off a digital, numeric response as well as a bar graph on the LCD display. Higher numbers and a wider graph indicate a stronger signal. The CST/berger MT200 also produces a deep tone audio signal that can be adjusted at any time.

Functional Keypad for Managing Features
The MT200’s ergonomic handle makes it easy to manage its functions with the push of a button. This keypad includes a power button, two buttons to increase or decrease sensitivity, and two buttons to increase or decrease the audio alert volume. There is also an optional "Erase" function button that prevents nearby magnetic interference from affecting your location (available in the MT202 only). You can monitor your battery life and the presence of power lines right on the display. A quick-change battery compartment makes switching out dead batteries fast and easy.

Waterproof and Portable
